Assists from Romanov and Tsyplakov helped the Islanders defeat Colorado

For the winners, American forwards Anders Lee and Kyle Palmieri, as well as Canadians Anthony Duclair and Mathew Barzal, all found the net. Brock Nelson from the USA scored twice. Russian players Alexander Romanov and Maxim Tsyplakov each recorded assists.
On the Colorado side, Canadian Callum Ritchie and American Casey Mittelstadt scored goals.
Both Russian goalkeepers, Ilya Sorokin and Alexandar Georgiev, made 32 saves each.
Colorado's next game will be at home against the Boston Bruins on October 17, while the New York Islanders will continue their road trip with a match against the St. Louis Blues on October 18.
