NHL Club "Utah" Signs a Puppy in Unique Transfer Deal
The Utah NHL team has made an unusual signing.
The club brought on a puppy named Archie, who will be trained as a future service dog. Archie “signed” his contract with Utah by leaving an inked paw print.
As a reminder, the team was previously known as the Arizona Coyotes. Following the club's relocation, all draft picks were transferred to the new Utah team. Ahead of the 2025-26 season, the team is set to finalize its new logo, mascot, and name.
