Barbashev's hat-trick of assists secures cictory for Vegas over Edmonton
The Vegas Golden Knights emerged victorious over the Edmonton Oilers with a 4-2 win in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season game. The match took place at Rogers Place in Edmonton.
For the visitors, goals were scored by Jack Eichel (17'), Noah Hanifin (51', power play and 59'), and Mark Stone (59', empty net). For the Oilers, Brett Kulak (33') and Zach Hyman (36') found the back of the net.
Russian forward Ivan Barbashev of the Knights recorded three assists in the game.
As a result of the encounter, Vegas accumulated 19 points, ascending to second place in the NHL's Western Conference. Edmonton, with 13 points, currently sits in the tenth spot in the West.
The Knights' next fixture in the regular season is against Seattle on 9th November, while the Oilers will play away against Vancouver the following day.
