Flick: "Barcelona needs to adapt to Real's style, but I trust my guys"
Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick has shared his thoughts on the team's mindset ahead of the upcoming match against Real Madrid in La Liga.
"Honestly, I haven't given much thought to the fact that it's my first El Clásico. Preparing the team well is vitally important, and it can't be overstated. Naturally, we look forward to this match with great anticipation.
After conceding an equalizer against Bayern, we managed to regain the lead. It's a good sign that shows we believe in ourselves, both when controlling the ball and attacking, as well as when playing without it. We proved this and intend to continue in the same vein," Flick told As.
Real Madrid and Barcelona will meet in the 11th round of La Liga, with the match set to take place on Saturday, 26th October, at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid. Kick-off is at 22:00 Moscow Standard Time.
The Catalan team leads the Spanish league table with 27 points, while Los Blancos occupy second place with 24 points.
