Results of the NHL Preseason Matches on October 2

In the early hours of October 2, a series of preseason matches for National Hockey League (NHL) clubs took place.

The Pittsburgh Penguins faced the Detroit Red Wings, resulting in a 1-2 defeat for the Penguins.

In another match, the Montreal Canadiens went up against the Ottawa Senators, with the Senators coming out on top with a score of 4-3. 

The New York Rangers triumphed over the New Jersey Devils with a close finish of 5-4. 

The Boston Bruins secured a solid victory against the Philadelphia Flyers, winning 4-1. 

In the contest between the St. Louis Blues and the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Blues were defeated 1-3.

The Minnesota Wild delivered a dominant performance against the Chicago Blackhawks, finishing the game 7-2.

The Colorado Avalanche encountered a tough match against the Vegas Golden Knights, suffering a heavy defeat of 1-6. 

Lastly, the San Jose Sharks were beaten by Utah with a score of 1-3.
