The match between Tampa and Carolina has been postponed due to a hurricane

The National Hockey League (NHL) has announced the postponement of the regular season match between the Carolina Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Lightning to a later date.

The teams' encounter was scheduled to take place on the 12th of October at the Amalie Arena in Tampa.

The match will occur on another day due to ongoing recovery efforts in the region following Hurricane Milton.

According to latest reports, over 3.4 million people in Florida are without electricity as a result of the storm's aftermath.
