This is the fifth edition of the Australian Open for Emil Ruusuvuori. He’s never been able to reach the third round so far. He was eliminated in the second round last season by Andrey Rublev (2:6, 4:6, 7:6, 3:6).
Daniil Medvedev
The first round was quite easy for Daniil Medvedev. His opponent, Térence Atman retired when the score was 2:1. Medvedev, however, actively won 42 balls in those three sets. Medvedev has usually advanced to the third round, which has happened in the last 5 editions of the Australian Open.

Medvedev has played against Ruusuvuori on two occasions, winning in both cases, without letting his opponent win a set. The Finnish player hasn’t performed well against the top opponents, losing 78% of the games (4 wins, 14 defeats). He’s won either a Master tournament or a lower rank competition.
Daniil Medvedev should easily win this match. I have no doubt in it.
