Judd Trump
Judd Trump is ready to defend his title. Current champion beat Mark Williams (10:8) in last year’s final. The last game that Trump played was in Macau. He was defeated by Mark Williams. Judd Trump performed unsuccessfully in the Scottish and UK Open too. The lost final of the Champion of Champions tournament in the game versus Mark Allen (3:10) was unexpected. This is why despite Trump being the obvious favourite of this match, his form is very controversial.
Kyren Wison
Kyren Wilson hasn’t performed well recently. He’s lost more games than he’s won. However, he’s still a player from the top 16. So he has the full right to play in this tournament. Kyren has something to strive for, as he's only won one rating tournament in the last 4 years.
Judd Trump – Kyren Wilson prediction
Trump has played against the top 16 players way better than Wilson. Kyren is a dangerous opponent, who can easily beat those outside the top 32. However, he faces problems when playing against the leaders. This is why I believe that he won’t be able to win many frames.
