Mark Williams
He failed to reach the late stages of the home tournament, being eliminated by Anthony McGill (4-1) in the Round of 32. Marc Williams didn’t look like himself. But he’s still one of the leaders of world snooker. His awards speak to themselves. Probably, it’s not the best time for Marc Williams, but there’s no doubt he’s a professional.
Mark Allen
He started well in Wales but faced John Higgins in the quarter-finals, losing (2-5). Despite the fact that Mark Allen was considered one of the favourites of the tournament. He’s not now, though, as here are Judd Trump and Ronnie O’Sullivan. Mark Allen hardly can be stable on a regular basis. He makes unforced errors when he’s not supposed to.

Both players are not the best ones now. Mark Williams is more disciplined. He’s been better in most of the head-to-head games in maximum breaks.
