These players didn't participate in the Macau Masters. We’ll find out soon whether such a break will be good for them. Shaun Murphy hasn’t brought joy to his fans with good results recently. He hasn’t been able to pass through the earliest stages in the last tournaments he’s participated in. Usually he has been eliminated at the first stage. It’s unlikely that he will perform any better at this tournament.
Zhang Anda
Zhang Anda has performed better this season, but it’s not the best you can expect, though. The Chinese player has managed to beat the world champion Brecel and Judd Trump. However, just like Murphy he has missed a lot recently, and we’re to find out if it’s a good thing or not. Zhang Anda is a strong player, compared to the statistics of Shaun Murphy. Yes, he has had more games, but it’s the key thing in his current advantage over Murphy.

Despite Shaun Murphy being the favourite of the match, I believe that Anda will struggle. He can win this game. But it’s not the thing I’d suggest to bet on. I’d better choose a number of frames. It’s unlikely they will play at least 10 of them.
