Wales
Wales gained 8 points in the last 4 games of the qualifying tournament and advanced to these play-offs. Now they will face Finland. Besides Wales, the group consisted of Turkey, Croatia, Armenia and Latvia. Wales finished 3rd, scoring 10 goals in their 8 games. After Bale ended his career, the main leader of the national team is Wilson from Fulham. He scored 3 goals and made 2 assists in the qualifying tournament.
Finland
Finland managed to finish ahead of Kazakhstan in November. Both teams advanced to the play-offs. Only Denmark and Slovenia finished ahead of Wales. Finland scored 18 goals in their 10 games. Teemu Pukki is still the leader of the national team. He’s been playing for Minnesota in the MLS since the last season.
Wales – Finland prediction
Wales and Finland have had 4 head-to-head games since November 2013, with 2 of them being official. The Welsh national team won both of them (1:0 and 3:1). Wales are supposed to advance to the next round in this game. But I don’t believe that we’ll see a lot of goals.
