Bayern Munich has been fined €150,000 for the use of pyrotechnics during a German Cup match
The sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) has fined Bayern Munich €150,000 for the improper behavior of their fans during the German Cup round of 32 match against Ulm 1846 on August 16, which ended in a 4-0 victory.
According to the official DFB website, Munich supporters ignited at least 70 flares and launched four large fireworks.
Some of these pyrotechnics were directed towards the pitch, causing the match to be delayed for approximately three minutes due to thick smoke.
