Rodri on Winning the Ballon d'Or: "I was the most consistent player last season"
Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri shared his thoughts on winning the 2024 Ballon d'Or.
"I think I won because of my consistency, which is the hardest thing in football. I believe I was the most consistent player of the season, perhaps not with the highest peaks, but the most regular. Rodri is now the third Spanish player in history to win the Ballon d'Or, following Alfredo Di Stéfano (1957, 1959) and Luis Suárez Miramontes (1960). Last season, he won the Premier League and the Club World Cup with Manchester City, and also became a European champion with the Spanish national team.
