Sources Close to Mbappé Confirm Player Is Facing Psychological Issues
Close contacts of French national team and Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé have disclosed that the player is dealing with psychological challenges.
“You can call it what you like, but Kylian has been facing psychological issues for several months now. These things don’t just happen out of nowhere; time and work with specialists are necessary,” LaDepeche quotes a source close to Mbappé.
Previously, police opened an investigation following a report of sexual assault that allegedly took place in a hotel in central Stockholm, where Mbappé and his friends were staying during a visit to Sweden.
Sources around Mbappé understand that this involves the 25-year-old footballer. Mbappé himself has labeled the assault allegations as “fake news.”
This season, Mbappé has played 10 matches in La Liga, scoring six goals and recording one assist.
