The coach of the Australian rugby club narrowly escaped death while preparing a barbecue

Trent Robinson, head coach of the Australian rugby club Sydney Roosters, and his wife have been hospitalized following a gas cylinder explosion while preparing a barbecue. This was reported by 9News Sydney.

According to sources, the incident occurred on October 7, as Robinson and his wife Sandra were preparing dinner at their home. As a result of the explosion, the couple sustained burns to their hands and were immediately airlifted to the hospital, where they spent two days receiving treatment.

Robinson has served as head coach of the Sydney Roosters since 2013, and under his leadership, the team has secured three titles in the National Rugby League (NRL).
