Star Quest: Design and Theme
🖼️ Graphics
We see dark outer space scattered with stars and a dusty planetary arc on the side. Large “gemstone” symbols and neon card ranks appear on a transparent grid. The interface is classic BTG of the mid-2010s — clean frames, a large spin button, and a Megaways counter at the top. When the wild astronaut lands as a full reel, her portrait instantly steals the focus: it feels as if the ship switches to warp speed — and the respin kicks in.
🎶 Sound
The music plays during spins: a monotone electronic track with “stellar” synth flourishes. The sound doesn’t press or fatigue — it stays in the background, emphasising the vacuum and the crystalline clicks on the reels. During respins, denser layers join in, but without aggression: more like an old sci-fi arcade, exactly the right tone for simple but tense gameplay

Special Symbols
- Star Quest has no scatter or other special symbols — everything revolves around the full-reel wild. This is the engine of the game: it increases the number of ways and boosts wins with multipliers.
- appears only on reels 2–5 and covers them fully;
- substitutes for any symbol and counts as 5 icons on the reel, increasing the number of ways;
- has its own multiplier.
Bonus Game
There are no free spins or bonus rounds here. Everything is driven by the wild respin. Here’s how it works:
- Any wild triggers a respin and increases the multiplier of all active wilds by +1 (cap — x5).
- During the respin, wilds stay locked. If a new wild lands, the multipliers rise again and another respin begins.
- Wins on all involved ways are multiplied by the current wild multipliers; if two or more wilds are active, their multipliers multiply (for example, x2 and x3 give x6).
RTP, Volatility, Max Win
The RTP of Star Quest is 96.22%. The slot has high volatility. The maximum win potential is x12,600 of the stake.
Our Verdict
Star Quest runs entirely on one idea — full-reel wilds with growing multipliers — and it’s surprising how long this idea stays engaging. The base game can “stay silent” for dozens of spins, but one landing wild can switch everything into race mode: respin, another respin, multipliers rising, the screen lighting up.
There is no separate bonus round — and that’s a plus for players who appreciate straightforward, transparent maths without levels or lottery elements. The downside is the tense downswings over distance: without wilds, the slot feels dry. We would recommend it to players who enjoy risk with clear rules and believe in “one good hit”.
If you want something different in space:
- Starburst — low volatility, expanding wilds, and up to three respins; ideal for those who enjoy frequent small wins and classic win-both-ways.
- Fire My Laser — a 7x6 grid with bomb/laser mechanics, medium-high volatility and a stated potential of up to x15,000; great for those who want more chaos and on-grid action.
