Al-Nassr knocked out of King's Cup as Ronaldo misses late penalty
Al-Nassr suffered a 0-1 defeat to Al-Taawoun in the Round of 16 of the King Cup of Saudi Arabia. The match took place at the King Fahd Stadium in Riyadh.
The only goal of the match came from the Brazilian midfielder Flavio, who scored for the visitors in the 71st minute.
Al-Nassr's forward Cristiano Ronaldo missed a penalty in the sixth minute of added time at the end of the second half.
Al-Taawoun's opponent for the next stage of the King's Cup will be determined at a later date. Last season, Al-Nassr reached the tournament's final but lost to Al-Hilal (1-1, 4-5 on penalties).
