Argentina thrashes Bolivia as Messi nets hat-trick and provides two assists

The Argentina national team secured a resounding 6-0 victory over Bolivia in Buenos Aires during the 10th round of the South American qualifying tournament for the 2026 World Cup. 

Argentine striker Lionel Messi delivered an outstanding performance, scoring a hat-trick and providing two assists. He was joined on the scoresheet by Lautaro Martinez, Julian Alvarez, and Thiago Almada, who each netted a goal. 

With this decisive win, Argentina sits atop the standings of the South American World Cup qualifiers, amassing 11 points from 10 matches played. Meanwhile, Bolivia is in seventh place, having collected 12 points. 

In their next qualifying match, Argentina will face Paraguay on November 15, while Bolivia will go up against Ecuador on the same date.
