Carolina dominates Boston in NHL contest with doubles from Roslovic and Svechnikov

At Raleigh's Lenovo Centre, the NHL regular-season match between the Carolina Hurricanes and the Boston Bruins saw the home team triumph with a decisive 8-2 victory.

Jack Roslovic (7th and 30th minutes) and Andrei Svechnikov (18', power play; 29', power play) both scored twice for the Hurricanes. Additional goals came from Dmitry Orlov (18'), Martin Necas (19', power play), Sean Walker (48'), and Jesperi Kotkaniemi (53'). The Bruins' Brad Marchand (14', power play) and Hampus Lindholm (24') managed to score for the visitors.

Svechnikov further contributed with an assist during the match.

The victory marks Carolina's fifth consecutive win. Previously, Rod Brind'Amour's team defeated the Vancouver Canucks (4-3 OT), Seattle Kraken (4-1), Calgary Flames (4-2), and Edmonton Oilers (3-2 OT).

Carolina now holds the third position in the NHL Eastern Conference standings with 14 points, while Boston is placed 13th with nine points.

The Hurricanes will next host the Washington Capitals on November 3. Meanwhile, the Bruins are set to face the Philadelphia Flyers away on November 2.
