Manchester United bans Ferguson from first-team dressing room

The new management of Manchester United has prohibited former manager Sir Alex Ferguson from entering the first-team dressing room.

According to Daily Mail, the club has introduced strict rules regarding who is allowed access to the dressing room. Previously, visits from club legends were considered part of United’s culture and tradition.

After stepping down as manager in 2013, Ferguson remained with the club as an ambassador and director on the board.

On 15 October, it was reported that United's management had reduced Ferguson’s payments as part of cost-saving measures, which was resolved amicably. Despite this, the 82-year-old will remain a club director and continue attending matches.
