Pogrebnyak labeled Manchester United a "circus" after the club refused to let Ferguson into the team's dressing room

Former Stuttgart and Russia national team forward Pavel Pogrebnyak commented on Manchester United's decision to prevent former manager Alex Ferguson from entering the team's dressing room.

"It's hard to comment; at the moment, Manchester United has turned from a great club into some kind of circus. I say this as a fan of the club. There's a lack of balance in the team and management, and unclear actions from the club's leadership," Pogrebnyak is quoted as saying by Sport-Express.

In the 2024/2025 Premier League season, Manchester United, managed by Erik ten Hag, has accumulated eight points over seven rounds and is currently positioned 14th in the league table. 

There have been media reports suggesting that the Dutch manager is close to being dismissed from the club due to unsatisfactory results.
