Ronaldo begins contract extension talks with Al-Nassr
Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr have initiated discussions to extend his current contract.
The striker is seeking regular playing time as he aims to feature in the 2026 World Cup, according to journalist Nicolo Schira. If the 39-year-old competes in the upcoming tournament, he would set a historic record as the first player to participate in six different World Cups.
Ronaldo has been playing for Al-Nassr since January 1, 2023. He has made 71 appearances for the Saudi club, scoring 64 goals and providing 17 assists. His current contract runs until the summer of 2025.
