Verstappen сriticizes McLaren after U.S. Grand Prix: "They complain too much"

Dutch Red Bull driver Max Verstappen commented on the stewards' decision to penalize McLaren's Lando Norris for an overtake at Turn 12 during the U.S. Grand Prix.

The British team attempted to appeal the penalty given to their driver after the race.

"Do I share McLaren's position? No. They've been complaining too much lately. The rules are pretty clear on this. You can't overtake outside the white lines. I've experienced something similar in the past, I think back in 2017. So, I just kept calm, trying to do everything I could. It wasn't easy due to tyre issues and the situation I was in. However, overall, I still really enjoyed the battle we had," Verstappen told Motorsport.

In Turn 12, Norris was penalized with a five-second penalty for overtaking Verstappen off the track.

The U.S. Grand Prix in Austin was won by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, with Verstappen finishing third. Norris ended up in fourth place.
