"Anything Can Happen": Sinner on Alcaraz and Djokovic's Early Exits from the US Open

World number one Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner commented on the early exits of Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Serbia's Novak Djokovic from the US Open.

"As we can see, in this sport, anything can happen. I try to focus on my side of the net and take it one day at a time. Every opponent is a challenge. I'm trying to enjoy every moment on the court. There have been a few upsets. Let's see what happens next. I'm happy to still be here. I hope to play as many matches as possible," Sinner said in an interview after his third-round match.

Alcaraz lost in the second round to Dutch player Botic van de Zandschulp, while Djokovic was defeated by Australian Alexei Popyrin in the third round.
