Barcelona eye signing of Tah and Kimmich next summer

Barcelona are reportedly interested in acquiring Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah and Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalans aim to bolster their defense and midfield and plan to sign the German players on free transfers in the summer of 2025, when their contracts with their current clubs expire. Barcelona have already communicated this intention to Tah's agent. Blaugrana head coach Hans-Dieter Flick is in favor of bringing Kimmich on board, having previously worked with him at Bayern.

Previously, Jonathan Tah announced his intention to leave Bayer as a free agent next summer.

Joshua Kimmich has been with Bayern Munich since 2015. This season, the 29-year-old midfielder has made three appearances for the Munich side without contributing to any goals or assists. Transfermarkt values the player at 50 million euros.

Jonathan Tah joined Bayer Leverkusen from Hamburg in the summer of 2015. In the current campaign, the 28-year-old has played four matches for the Leverkusen side. Transfermarkt estimates the defender's market value at 30 million euros.
