Barcelona Will Not Sign Either Williams or Leão This Summer

Barcelona are not expecting to sign Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams or AC Milan's Rafael Leão.

According to Marca, the Catalan club has nearly finalised a deal with Nike, but the announcement will be made only at the beginning of September. As a result, they will be unable to complete a major transfer for one of the forwards.

An earlier announcement of the Nike contract would have helped the Blaugrana comply with La Liga's financial fair play regulations.
