Bernardo Silva criticizes schedule: "We will play every three days"

Manchester City and Portugal attacking midfielder Bernardo Silva has voiced his concerns about the fixture schedule for the new season.

"It's a crazy schedule. We'll have just one day off before the English League Cup match. We will likely be playing every three days for several months. It's absurd. In the Champions League, even if you don't advance to the Round of 16, you'll still have to play two more games. It's true that squads have become larger, but I wouldn't say it's easy. I spend very little time with my family and friends. The number of games we have to play is absolutely ridiculous," Silva told Fabrizio Romano on X.

This season, Bernardo Silva has played four matches for Manchester City, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
