Bisping believes Dvalishvili shouldn’t have shown his cut ahead of title fight with O'Malley

Former UFC champion Michael Bisping has weighed in on comments made by league president Dana White regarding Georgian fighter Merab Dvalishvili.

«Social media didn’t used to play such a big role in our lives. Now, this generation lives on social media. Of course, I post things on there too, but I keep a lot of things private. If I were preparing for a title fight against Sean O'Malley, I wouldn't show the world my cut. Merab’s cut isn’t very serious, but it was unwise to show it. You can’t blame Dana for what he said — it's frustration. He's organizing a unique event, and then this happens... But everyone makes mistakes,» Bisping said on his YouTube channel.

It’s worth noting that Dvalishvili has a scheduled title bout against American Sean O'Malley at UFC 306 in Las Vegas (USA) on September 15.

Dvalishvili has a record of 20 fights in MMA, with 16 wins. O'Malley boasts 18 wins out of 19 bouts.
