Bolton striker injured by sneezing mishap

Bolton striker Victor Adeboyejo has sustained a back injury after an unfortunate sneezing incident, according to the team's manager Ian Evatt.

"Victor is suffering from an unusual back injury that occurred after he sneezed — believe it or not. We are currently awaiting the results of a medical examination," Evatt told The Bolton News. "Everyone remembers his collision with an opponent in the match against Charlton, but he was fine then. Later, he had a powerful sneeze. Victor is a strong guy, and he sneezes with considerable force. He felt something crack between his ribs. We're hoping the issue involves cartilage or is a muscle injury."

Victor Adeboyejo has been with Bolton since January 2023. This season, the Nigerian forward has made five appearances, scoring one goal. Due to his injury, he has already missed a group stage match in the EFL Trophy and is at risk of being sidelined for several upcoming games.
