Brown: "Ronaldo could return to Man United and mend that unpleasant farewell"

Former England defender Wes Brown has expressed his desire to see Cristiano Ronaldo back at Manchester United.

"When it comes to Ronaldo returning to United in any capacity, nothing can be ruled out. It was disappointing how things ended. I think he could come back and try to smooth over that unpleasant farewell. I don’t believe his departure was entirely necessary," Brown told Goal.

Ronaldo played for the English club from 2003 to 2009, and again from 2021 to 2022. During his time at United, he won numerous accolades, including the Ballon d'Or.
