Cristiano Ronaldo called up for Portugal’s Nations League matches against Croatia and Scotland

The head coach of the Portuguese national team, Roberto Martinez, has included Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo in the squad for the September Nations League matches. This has been confirmed by the Portuguese Football Federation's press office.

The full squad for Portugal’s September Nations League matches is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Diogo Costa (Porto), José Sá (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Rui Silva (Real Betis);

Defenders: Rúben Dias (Manchester City), António Silva (Benfica), Renato Veiga (Chelsea), Gonçalo Inácio (Sporting CP), Tiago Santos (Lille), Diogo Dalot (Manchester United), Nuno Mendes (Paris Saint-Germain), Nélson Semedo (Wolverhampton Wanderers);

Midfielders: João Palhinha (Bayern Munich), João Neves, Vitinha (both Paris Saint-Germain), Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United), Bernardo Silva (Manchester City), Rúben Neves (Al-Hilal), João Félix (Chelsea), Francisco Trincão, Pedro Gonçalves (both Sporting CP);

Portugal will play two home matches in Group A1 of the Nations League. Roberto Martinez's side will face Croatia on September 5, followed by a match against Scotland on September 8. Poland also competes in this group.
