De Ligt: «Happy with my move to Manchester United»

Manchester United central defender Matthijs de Ligt has spoken about his move to the English team from Bayern Munich.

«I am happy with my move to Manchester United also because I am staying in the limelight. The English Premier League has more viewers than the Bundesliga», de Ligt was quoted as saying by AFC Ajax on social media.

Manchester United bought De Ligt from Bayern Munich last summer for €45 million. The Dutchman signed a contract with the Mancunians until June 30, 2029.
