Du Plessis to Pereira: “You and your boyfriend Strickland can have a domestic dispute on who gets slept first”

UFC middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis has responded to a challenge from light heavyweight titleholder Alex Pereira.

Previously, the Brazilian fighter announced his intention to return to the middleweight division after his bout with Khalil Rountree and compete for the title against the South African champion.

“You and your boyfriend Sean Strickland can have a domestic dispute on who gets slept first,” du Plessis wrote on social media.

The fight between Alex Pereira and Khalil Rountree is set to take place in October at UFC 307.

Throughout his MMA career, Pereira boasts 11 victories and has suffered two defeats. Dricus du Plessis, on the other hand, holds an impressive record of 22 wins and two losses.
