Former England manager Eriksson dies aged 76

Former Manchester City, England, and Mexico manager Sven-Göran Eriksson has passed away at the age of 77, reports BBC.

In January, Eriksson was diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Sven-Göran Eriksson led the England national team from 2001 to 2006. The Swedish coach also managed Benfica, Roma, Lazio, Manchester City, and the national teams of Mexico and Ivory Coast, among several other sides. In February last year, Eriksson stepped down as the sporting director of Swedish club Karlstad due to health reasons.
