Foster Predicts Alexander-Arnold’s Potential Salary at Real Madrid

Former England goalkeeper Ben Foster has weighed in on what could be the potential salary for defender Trent Alexander-Arnold at Real Madrid.

"Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah together earn around 600,000 pounds a week. As for Trent, he knows that if he signs a new four-to-five-year contract with Liverpool, he immediately becomes a £100 million asset. If anyone wants to buy him once he signs that new contract, the price tag will be at least £100 million. Trent is aware of this, which allows him to say, ‘Fine, make me the highest-paid player in the Premier League, and then I’ll sign the new deal.’ I believe this is how events will unfold. Alexander-Arnold can expect something similar because if he moves to Real Madrid as a free agent, he’ll be earning 400,000 to 500,000 pounds a week," Foster stated on his YouTube channel.

On July 28, reports emerged that Los Blancos are working towards signing Trent on a free transfer in 2025.

The 25-year-old defender has been with Liverpool since 2016. His current agreement with the club runs until the summer of 2025.
