France's world champion Fekir has moved to a UAE club

Betis midfielder Nabil Fekir has signed a contract with UAE club Al Jazira, according to the official website of the Spanish team.

The term of the agreement and the amount of the transfer of the 31-year-old midfielder is not disclosed.

Fekir has played for Betis since 2019. In total, the midfielder spent 165 matches in the Seville team, in which he scored 29 goals and gave the same number of effective assists.

In 2018, Fekir became the world champion with the French national team. The player has dual citizenship: French and Algerian.
