Fritz on US Open final against Sinner: «I have a feeling I'm going to win»

American tennis player Taylor Fritz shared his expectations from the final match of the US Open against world number one Yannick Cinner.

On the night of September 6-7, Fritz defeated his compatriot Francis Tiafoe in the semifinals of the US Open with a score of 4:6, 7:5, 4:6, 6:4, 6:1.

«I always liked playing against Cinner. Honestly, I don't think I'll be in a more stressful situation than today. I think the match against Tiafoe was more stressful than playing in the final. I have a feeling that I'm going to come out and play really well and win», Fritz told a press conference.

The US Open 2024 will conclude on September 8. The prize fund of the tournament is 75 million dollars.
