Guardiola: "Watching Liverpool's games more often because of Slot"

Manchester City's head coach, Pep Guardiola, shared that he has been watching Liverpool's matches more regularly because of their new coach, Arne Slot.

"When I start playing against a new team in the Champions League for which I have no information, I pay much more attention to them than, for example, Arsenal. Of course, I watch Arsenal's games often, but Arteta has been coaching their team for four or five years already. Before that, there was Jurgen Klopp and his Liverpool. Now, I need to keep a closer eye on Liverpool's games because of Arne Slot. I don't quite understand their current actions, but Jurgen and I knew each other better. In my youth, I watched many more matches than I do now. It seems like I've grown lazy," Guardiola said in an interview with Sky Sports.

Manchester City leads the Premier League table with 12 points.
