"In a month, it will be better": Deschamps on Mbappe's low scoring rate for the national team

Didier Deschamps, the head coach of the French national team, commented on the low scoring rate of forward Kylian Mbappe.

"Mbappe will start scoring goals. Just relax, we are always stronger with him. I am confident that it will be better in a month. He fully takes on the role of a leader with us, even when he is not playing. I'm not worried about Kylian," Deschamps was quoted by Telefoot.

On September 9, the French national team defeated Belgium (2:0) in a Nations League match. Mbappe entered the field in the 67th minute, replacing Randal Kolo-Muani, but did not manage to score. In the last eight matches for the French national team, Kylian has only scored one goal - against Poland in Euro 2024.
