Jones: «Aspinall will need to make ten title defenses to come close to me»

UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones does not believe he should fight Tom Aspinall.

«You may be dissatisfied, but my legacy will not suffer. I have achieved too much in this sport. There are people who have followed my career for their entire lives.

Aspinall will need to make at least ten title defenses to come close to that. No one will surpass my accomplishments anytime soon,» Jones wrote on social media.

Jones last stepped into the octagon in March 2023 against Frenchman Ciryl Gane, where he won the heavyweight title, achieving his 27th career victory. Miocic has recorded 20 wins and suffered four losses.

A bout between Jones and Miocic is scheduled for UFC 309 on November 16 in New York at Madison Square Garden.
