Kane becomes the Champions League's all-time leading English goalscorer

Today, September 17, in the first round of the UEFA Champions League group stage, Bayern Munich thrashed Dinamo Zagreb 9-2.

Harry Kane scored four goals, with his final goal coming from a penalty in the 78th minute. He had earlier netted in the 20th minute (also a penalty), the 57th minute, and again from a penalty in the 73rd minute. With this performance, Kane broke the record previously held by former Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney.

Kane now has 33 goals in the tournament, making him the leading English goalscorer in both the Champions League and the European Cup, surpassing Rooney's 32 goals.
