Klopp attended the Paralympic Games in Paris

Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp attended the Paralympic Games in Paris.

Klopp watched a badminton match between New Zealand's Vojtek Cziż and Britain's Daniel Bethell, which concluded with a score of 0-2. Cziż is a friend of the coach and a former footballer who had his leg amputated in 2001 due to an injury.

«The stories of these athletes are always special, and this is what I love about sports — its ability to change the world. The Paralympic Games are an event for everyone. At the opening ceremony, I saw many people with disabilities, and for them, this represents an entire world.

These are stories of highs and lows, where we all await a happy ending. Showcasing that is the best example,» Klopp is quoted as saying by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) website.

The 2024 Paralympic Games will conclude on September 8.
