LeBron James has forbidden his son from calling him "dad" on the court

LeBron James, forward for the Los Angeles Lakers and a player for the U.S. national team, revealed that his 19-year-old son, Bronny, who also plays for Los Angeles, is not allowed to call him dad during games.

James noted that it won’t be difficult for Bronny, as he often addresses his father by name.

In 2023, Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest during a practice session. He subsequently underwent treatment for a congenital heart defect. This incident forced him to miss five months of training, but he eventually made his return to the sport.
