Milner sets record for most seasons in the Premier League

Brighton midfielder James Milner has set a new record for the most seasons played in the Premier League.  

On August 17, the 38-year-old played in the starting lineup for the Seagulls in their opening match of the season against Everton, marking his participation in a remarkable 23rd season in the EPL. The previous record was held by Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs, who played 22 seasons in England's top flight.  

James Milner made his Premier League debut with Leeds United in 2002. Throughout his career, he has featured in 634 matches in the league, scoring 55 goals and providing 87 assists.
