Osimhen has yet to respond to Al-Ahli while concurrently negotiating with Chelsea

Napoli forward Victor Osimhen has yet to respond to Al-Ahli's contract offer, despite an agreement being made between the two clubs, according to insider Fabrizio Romano on social media.

Osimhen is still in negotiations with Chelsea, while a delegation from Napoli is working to facilitate the player's transfer before the closure of the transfer window. Romano previously reported that Al-Ahli and Napoli had reached an agreement regarding Osimhen's transfer.

The deal between the clubs is valued at €75 million to €80 million, with Al-Ahli already arranging a medical examination for the player. Osimhen has been offered a four-year contract with a salary ranging from €25 million to €30 million, including a release clause. Romano emphasized that the final decision lies with the player.

The Nigerian striker joined the Neapolitan club from Lille in 2020 for €77.5 million. In the last season, he scored 17 goals and provided four assists in 32 appearances.

Osimhen's contract with the Italian club runs until the summer of 2026, and his market value is estimated at €100 million according to Transfermarkt.
