Pakistan's Nadeem Claims Olympic Gold in Javelin Throw

Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem has won gold in the javelin throw at the Paris Olympics.

The 27-year-old achieved a remarkable distance of 92.97 meters in his best attempt. Notably, Nadeem shattered the Olympic record set by Norway's Andreas Thorkildsen (90.57 meters) that had stood since the 2008 Beijing Games. This triumph also marks Pakistan's first-ever Olympic gold in individual sports.

The silver medal went to India's Neeraj Chopra, who threw 89.45 meters, while Grenada's Anderson Peters secured the bronze with a throw of 88.54 meters.
