Pérez on Real Madrid's victory in the UEFA Super Cup: "We could have scored more against Atalanta"

Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez commented on the team’s victory in the UEFA Super Cup.

«It’s normal to achieve victory when the team comes out with such momentum and strength in the second half. We scored two goals, but we could have scored more.

We need to work hard, just as we did last season – and that will yield results. We have an excellent team, and this is recognized by fans around the world, from our tour in the USA to the Super Cup in Poland», Pérez told Marca.

The “Whites” secured a 2-0 win against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup match, held at the Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw, Poland. This marks a record sixth time that Real Madrid has claimed the UEFA Super Cup title.
