Raphinha on Crushing Valladolid: "Coach Wanted Even More Goals"

Barcelona winger Raphinha commented on the team's resounding victory over Valladolid in the fourth round of La Liga, where they emerged 7-0 winners.

"I don't know if this was my best match, but it's definitely one of them. I'll strive to be even better. I'm extremely happy; it's my first career hat-trick, and I'm glad I could help the team. I feel fantastic. I've been working hard since returning from vacation, knowing that this season is very important for me. I wanted to contribute to the team, and today's match showed that there's no need for new players. We are very pleased with this. The coach wanted even more goals, and so did we. We want to score as many as possible while always respecting our opponents. Trying to score more is a sign of respect, without any mockery," Raphinha told DAZN.

The Brazilian notched a hat-trick and provided two assists.

As a result, Barcelona now has 12 points and remains at the top of the La Liga table. Valladolid, with four points, dropped to 12th place.
