Rashford scores in the Premier League for the first time in 189 days

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has broken his goal drought in the Premier League.

The 26-year-old Englishman scored with a long-range strike in the fourth round match of the Premier League against Southampton. This goal marks Rashford's first in the league in 189 days and 13 games. His last league goal came in round 28 of the 2023/24 EPL season against Everton (2-0) in March.

The match between Manchester United and Southampton is being held at St Mary's Stadium. By the 78th minute, the visitors are leading 2-0.

Marcus Rashford is a product of Manchester United's youth academy. The forward made his debut for the Red Devils in 2016. This season, he has made four appearances so far.
