Ricky Hatton has outlined what Tyson Fury needs to change ahead of his rematch with Usyk

Ricky Hatton, a former two-weight world champion, has shared his thoughts on the adjustments that British boxer Tyson Fury should consider making ahead of his rematch with undefeated Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk.

«I think John [Fury] needs to step aside. He has to do that. I'll say what any coach would: you can have a second trainer or assistant in your corner, but all discussions should happen during the rounds.

During the breaks, there should be one voice. Otherwise, the fighter gets lost and thinks, 'Who the ***** am I supposed to listen to?' I believe that having Andy Lee and John Fury in the corner is beneficial, but during the breaks, only one person should be speaking to Tyson», — Hatton said, as reported by talkSPORT.

The first fight between the two took place on May 18, where Usyk emerged victorious by a split decision, making him the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the world in the 21st century. Usyk boasts an immaculate record of 22 wins from 22 professional bouts, while Fury has recorded 34 victories, 1 defeat, and 1 draw.

The highly anticipated rematch is scheduled to take place in December in Saudi Arabia.
